Our Process

  • Step 1: Audit your current digital marketing efforts as well as those of your competitors. The first thing we do is assess what you’re currently doing and identify what’s working (but might need some tweaking) and what’s not working. It’s also critical to establish what your competitors are doing well and what they’re flunking atl. We don’t want to make the same mistakes they’re making, but we do want to understand their success in order to ace steps 4 and 5.

 

  • Step 2: Brainstorming Workshop. With all of this info, we’re now armed and ready to tackle step 2 - the brainstorming workshop. The workshop is a 3 hour (can be done as 2 x 1.5 hour sessions) in-person or video call brainstorm where we’ll cover everything you need for a thorough and effective digital strategy. We’ll dive deep into your business: it’s history, products and services, wins and losses, long-term and short-term goals, unique requirements and resource requirements, and a variety of other touch-points critical to a successful marketing plan.

 

  • Step 3: Establish and understand your target market. Using a mix of market data, our experience and your experience we will create detailed target market personas. This is an invaluable exercise is essentially the backbone of your digital strategy. The channels you use, the images you choose and the tone you communicate with will all be determined by your target market personas.
  • Step 4: Identify your unique selling point and positioning. Now that we’ve audited your competitors, dived deep into your business and established your target personas we can now flesh out what makes you different. What disguinshes your approach from your competitors? What can your target audience get from you that they can’t get anywhere else? These are the types of questions we’ll help you answer.

 

  • Step 5: Select the most relevant digital channels for your business. Not all digital marketing channels are relevant to all businesses. There’s no point in fretting over what Tik-Tok trend to participate in, if your target audience is mostly on LinkedIn. During this step, taking into account your brand position, target persona, budget and goals, we’ll assist you in crafting a thorough channel strategy that you can pick up and run with.

 

  • Step 6: Document a detailed digital marketing plan. The final step, and the most commonly overlooked step, is to document everything we’ve brainstormed and plotted out. We’ll produce an easy to understand and execute digital marketing road map for you to share with your marketing team or tackle yourself.
